An informative educational trip to Amrit Udyan at New Delhi was organized for the students of Sardar Patel Subharti Law Institute. This trip was organized under the guidance of Subharti Law College Director Rajesh Chandra (former Justice, Allahabad High Court, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh) and under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Reena Bishnoi, Dean, Subharti Law College.A group of BA, LL.B., and PhD students visited Amrit Udyan on an educational tour led by Prof. (Dr.) Reena Bishnoi and Prof. (Dr.) Prem Chandra. Amrit Udyan (formerly known as the Mughal Garden) will be open to the public from February 3, 2026, to March 31, 2026. Amrit Udyan features Bal Vatika, Plumeria Garden, Banyan Garden, Bonsai Garden, Bubbling Brook, Central Lawn, Long Garden, and Circular Garden for visitors to explore. This year’s garden features new features, including tulips and a variety of roses. There is a beautiful stream called Bubbling Brook, which has waterfalls.The visit provided students with an opportunity to witness the wonderful confluence of history, heritage, and natural beauty inherent in Amrit Udyan. During the visit, students observed the beautifully manicured landscapes, diverse flora, and architectural splendor surrounding the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex. This experience not only enhanced their appreciation for India’s cultural and environmental heritage but also provided a refreshing learning environment beyond the classroom.Such educational trips play a vital role in broadening students’ perspectives, encouraging experiential learning, and developing a deeper connection with the nation’s historical and cultural sites. Adorned with thousands of flowers, Amrit Udyan offers a glimpse into the beauty of nature. Spread across a vast area of 15 acres, Amrit Udyan is often described as the soul of Rashtrapati Bhavan, and rightly so.This edition of Amrit Udyaan is a stunning landscape where visitors can witness the full beauty of rare seasonal flowers. This time, Amrit Udyaan has introduced a new attraction – a gurgling stream, sculptural fountains, stone steps, and a reflecting pool, providing a refreshing and tranquil experience.In addition, visitors can enjoy a number of attractions, including a specially designed children’s garden, the Bal Vatika, which tells the story of a 225-year-old rosewood tree, a tree-house, a nature classroom, and more. Bonsai and circular gardens feature a diverse array of flora and fauna. There’s also a vibrant food court where visitors can enjoy refreshments and view ongoing exhibitions.
