Day-3 (March 29, 2026): AI Hackathon Finale and Sports Events MEERUT, March 29, 2026: On the third day of VIGYANOTSAV 2026, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University witnessed an energetic blend of intellectual brilliance and sporting spirit, reflecting the university’s commitment to holistic student development.

A key highlight of Day-3 was the sports events, coordinated by Er. Mayankeshwar Singh, which featured high-energy competitions including Box Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Chess, and Carrom. The events were successfully conducted under the guidance of dedicated coordinators: Dr. Vikas Sharma (Box Cricket), Er. Mayankeshwar Singh (Volleyball), Er. Ravi Agarwal (Chess), Dr. Sanjeev Kumar (Badminton), and Er. Abhinav Singh (Carrom). Matches held across the SVSU Playground and Box Cricket Ground showcased remarkable athletic talent, teamwork, and enthusiastic participation from students, adding vibrant energy to the third day of the festival.

Another major highlight of the day was the grand finale of ShubhShastra – 24 Hr AI Hackathon 2026, where more than 300 students from various states across the country participated in an intensive innovation challenge. The Chief Guest of the AI Hackathon finale was Dr. Sergei Koltsov, Professor, Department of Informatics and Principal Investigator, Laboratory for Social and Cognitive Informatics, National Research University Higher School of Economics, St. Petersburg, whose presence added an international dimension to the event.

The closing ceremony and prize distribution were held at the MMM Auditorium, where winners were recognized for their outstanding and innovative digital solutions. The AI Hackathon was evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges including Dr. Kapil, Director IQAC; Mr. Dhruv Narayan, Data Scientist at Shunya Labs; and Mr. Arya Bandhu, Tech Creator, who appreciated the creativity, technical skills, and innovative thinking demonstrated by the participants. A heartfelt thanks was also extended to the amazing mentors from HackShastra, Jai Chawla and team, for their continuous guidance and support throughout the 24-hour challenge.

During the closing ceremony, Prof. (Dr.) Sharvan Kumar Garg appreciated the participants for their dedication, creativity, and perseverance throughout the rigorous 24-hour challenge. The day concluded on a high note, celebrating both technological innovation and sporting excellence, making Day-3 one of the most dynamic and engaging segments of VIGYANOTSAV 2026.
