Guest Lecture on “Research Project and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)”

The Department of Languages, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, successfully organized an academic lecture on “Research Project and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)” on 4 May 2026 at 12:00 PM in the HR Lab.

The session was conducted by Dr. Rajeev Ranjan from Delhi University who delivered an insightful talk on the importance of research projects and the relevance of Intellectual Property Rights in today’s academic and professional environment. He highlighted the significance of originality, proper documentation, and safeguarding innovative ideas through IPR mechanisms.

The program began with a warm welcome by Dr. Seema Sharma, Head, Department of Languages who felicitated the guest by presenting a planter as a token of appreciation.

Objectives of the Program:

  1. To develop critical thinking and analytical skills in academic research.
  2. To create awareness about Intellectual Property Rights and their importance in academia.
  3. To encourage innovation, originality, and ethical research practices.

Outcomes of the Program:

  1. Participants developed a more structured and analytical approach towards research work.
