Report on Workshop on Common Yoga Protocol
On the occasion of the 12th International Day of Yoga, the Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (MASCHNYS), Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organized a Workshop on Common Yoga Protocol in the Department of Polytechnic, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, on 15 June 2026 commencing at 08:15 AM.
The workshop was conducted with the objective of creating awareness regarding the significance of yoga in promoting holistic health and well-being, as well as encouraging the regular practice of the Common Yoga Protocol among university staff members.
The session was attended by all teaching and non-teaching staff members of the Department of Polytechnic. A total of 17 participants actively took part in the workshop and benefited from the practical and theoretical aspects of the session.
The coordinator for the workshop was Dr. Seema Dixit, Assistant Professor, MASCHNYS, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. She conducted the Common Yoga Protocol session and provided detailed guidance on various yogic practices, emphasizing their role in maintaining physical fitness, mental wellness, stress management, and overall quality of life.
The participants enthusiastically performed the prescribed yoga practices under expert supervision and gained valuable insights into the health benefits of incorporating yoga into their daily routines.
The workshop was successfully conducted and served as an effective initiative to promote awareness about yoga and its contribution to a healthy lifestyle. Participants appreciated the session and expressed their willingness to adopt yoga as a regular practice for enhancing their physical and mental well-being.
