DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDES SUMMER CAMP 2025–26
The Department of Physical Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, successfully organized a one-month Summer Camp 2026 from 1st June to 30th June 2026 under the theme “A Camp for Fitness, Fun, Discipline & a Healthy Lifestyle.” The camp aimed to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, discipline, confidence, mental wellness and healthy lifestyle habits among participants of all age groups.
The camp featured a variety of activities including Football, Aerobics & Zumba, Badminton, Table Tennis, Yoga & Meditation, Basketball and Handball. Each activity was conducted under the guidance of experienced faculty members and instructors. Aerobics & Zumba were coordinated by Ms. Deepanshu Choudhary; Badminton by Mr. Arjun (BPES) under the supervision of Mr. Sanjit TK, Table Tennis by Mr. Mohd. Sartaz and Mr. Sharad Panwar; Yoga & Meditation by Dr. Nishant Kumar; Basketball by Mr. Nicky Dhaka (BPES) under the supervision of Mr. Shubham Rathi, Handball by Dr. Ankit Singh Jadon, and Football by Mr. Shubham Sagar. Their dedication and continuous efforts ensured that every session was conducted successfully and professionally.
Throughout the month-long camp the response from the participants was truly overwhelming. A large number of children enthusiastically participated in all the activities with great energy and excitement. The Aerobics & Zumba, Football and Badminton sessions witnessed particularly remarkable participation with children eagerly attending the sessions every day. The camp created an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, laughter, teamwork and sportsmanship. Participants not only improved their physical fitness and sports skills but also developed discipline, confidence, leadership qualities and a healthy competitive spirit. The children thoroughly enjoyed every activity made new friends learned valuable life skills and expressed their happiness and excitement throughout the camp. Their smiling faces and active involvement reflected the grand success of the event.
The successful organization of the camp was made possible through the collective efforts of all faculty members, coordinators, instructors, volunteers and supporting staff. The Department extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Manju Adhikari, Head of the Department of Physical Education for her constant encouragement, visionary leadership, valuable guidance and unwavering support throughout the planning and execution of the Summer Camp. Her motivation and cooperation played a pivotal role in making the month-long event a remarkable success.
The Department also expresses its sincere appreciation to Dr. Parveen Kumar and Dr. Deepak Raghav for their continuous support and coordination. The Department extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the participants and their parents for their trust, enthusiastic participation and continuous cooperation which greatly contributed to the success of Summer Camp 2026.
