Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (MASCHNYS), Faculty of AYUSH, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, organized a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Research Paper Writing” on 10 July 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Conference Hall of the college.
Objectives of the FDP
The Faculty Development Programme was organized with the following objectives:
1. To familiarize faculty members with the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in academic research and scientific writing.
2. To enhance the quality and efficiency of research paper writing using AI-powered tools.
3. To provide practical knowledge on the ethical and responsible use of AI in manuscript preparation.
4. To demonstrate the application of AI in literature review, language editing, referencing, data presentation, and plagiarism prevention.
5. To encourage faculty members to integrate AI technologies into research while maintaining academic integrity and originality.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by the Programme Coordinator, Dr. Jyoti Madhur, who warmly welcomed the resource person and all the faculty members.
The session was delivered by Dr. Ankit Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU), Meerut. He provided a comprehensive overview of the emerging role of Artificial Intelligence in research paper writing. He explained how AI-powered platforms can assist researchers in identifying relevant literature, organizing references, improving grammar and language, generating research outlines, preparing tables and figures, and enhancing the overall structure of scientific manuscripts. He also emphasized the ethical and responsible use of AI tools, highlighting the importance of maintaining originality, accuracy, and academic integrity in research.
A total of 27 participants, including faculty members and MD scholars, attended the programme. The session concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, during which participants actively interacted with the resource person and clarified their queries. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.
