The program was conducted to create awareness among postgraduate students about the various funding opportunities available through Government and Non-Government agencies for research projects and to encourage quality research, innovation, and evidence-based practices.

The session was delivered by Dr. Shivaji Vilas Chobe, Associate Professor, MASCHNYS, who provided detailed insights into the different Government and Non-Government funding agencies, research grant schemes, eligibility criteria, grant application procedures, proposal writing, budgeting, documentation, project implementation, and reporting requirements. He highlighted the importance of research funding in promoting scientific excellence, strengthening academic research, and advancing evidence-based healthcare. Participants were guided on identifying suitable funding opportunities and developing well-structured research proposals that meet the requirements of various funding agencies.

The program was highly interactive and provided participants with an opportunity to discuss practical aspects of research funding, including proposal submission, project planning, fund utilization, and documentation. The discussion addressed participants’ queries and motivated postgraduate students to actively pursue funded research projects while enhancing their understanding of research methodologies and grant management.

A total of 40 postgraduate students from MD Batch 2023, MD Batch 2024, and MD Batch 2025 actively participated in the program. The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Juhi Rajput, Tutor, MASCHNYS, who ensured the smooth planning and execution of the program.

The sensitisation program successfully achieved its objectives by enhancing participants’ awareness of Government and Non-Government research funding opportunities and strengthening their knowledge of research proposal development and project management. The session encouraged students to actively engage in quality research, seek external funding, and contribute to evidence-based healthcare practices. Overall, the program proved to be informative, practical, and motivating, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to promoting a strong research culture and academic excellence.
