Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign Celebrated with Patriotic Fervour at SVSU

Meerut, August 14, 2026: The Department of Physical Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU), Meerut, organised the “Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026” on August 14, 2026, with the objective of promoting patriotism, national unity and awareness about the significance of the National Flag.

The programme was conducted from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Department of Physical Education and witnessed enthusiastic participation from 41 participants, including 10 faculty members and 31 students. The campaign focused on creating awareness about the importance of the Tiranga and encouraging students and faculty members to actively participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative.

During the programme, participants were sensitised about the National Flag as a symbol of national pride, unity, integrity and identity. Students and faculty members actively participated in the campaign and were encouraged to display the National Flag at their homes and spread awareness about the campaign among their families and communities.

The programme was conducted under the able guidance of Dr. Pintu Mishra, Dean, whose support and encouragement contributed to the successful organisation of the campaign. The event was further guided by Dr. Manju Adhikari, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Physical Education, whose leadership played an important role in the smooth execution of the programme.

Dr. Deepak Raghav and Ms. Deepanshu Choudhary, Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Education, served as the Convener of the programme. The event received active cooperation and support from faculty members, including Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Ankit Singh Jadon, Mr. Shubham Rathi, Dr. Ankit, Mr. Sharad Panwar and Mr. Sanjith T.K. Their collective involvement contributed significantly to the effective conduct of the campaign.

Mr. Sartaj Khan, Research Scholar, also extended valuable cooperation and support during the programme. The active involvement of faculty members, research scholars and students created an energetic and patriotic environment throughout the event.

The programme also highlighted the importance of respecting the dignity of the National Flag and encouraged participants to take collective responsibility for promoting national unity and patriotic values. Students actively engaged in the campaign and demonstrated enthusiasm towards initiatives promoting national pride and civic responsibility.

The successful participation of the university community reflected their commitment towards national initiatives and strengthened the spirit of patriotism, unity and national responsibility among the participants.

The Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026 concluded successfully with a renewed sense of pride and responsibility towards the nation. The programme served as a meaningful initiative to create awareness about the National Flag and inspire the university community to actively contribute towards strengthening the values of unity, integrity and patriotism.
