Alumni Talk on “Securing the Digital Enterprise: Advanced Network Security & Cyber Defense”
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU), Meerut, organized an Alumni Talk on “Securing the Digital Enterprise: Advanced Network Security & Cyber Defense” on 19 August 2026 for B.Tech. students.
The session was delivered by Mr. Neeraj Kumar, Network Security Senior Specialist at NTT DATA, who has 12 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Network Security, and Data Center Operations. An alumnus of SVSU, he completed his M.Tech in Cyber Security from Swami Vivekanand Subharti University. He shared practical insights into advanced network security, cyber defense strategies, enterprise security challenges, and emerging cyber threats.
The session provided students with valuable industry exposure and career guidance in the field of cybersecurity. A total of 74 students actively participated in the Alumni Talk.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Ashima, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, with the support of Dr. Shravan Garg, HoD, CSE & IT, FET, SVSU, and Prof. Dr. Manoj Kapil, Principal, SVSU.
The Alumni Talk successfully enhanced students’ awareness of cybersecurity practices, industry requirements, career opportunities, and emerging trends in network security and cyber defense.
