The Department of Languages, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University conducted a Poster & Slogan Writing Activity under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) on 14 August 2026 at the Department of Languages. The activity aimed to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promote a healthy, responsible, and drug-free lifestyle.
The activity was organized with the active participation of students. Through creative posters and meaningful slogans, students highlighted the harmful effects of drug abuse and conveyed the importance of choosing a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
Objectives
- To create awareness among students about the harmful effects of substance abuse.
- To encourage students to adopt a healthy, responsible, and drug-free lifestyle.
- To motivate students to stay away from drugs and other addictive substances.
- To provide students with a creative platform to express their views on drug abuse.
- To promote active participation in the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
- To promote health and well-being in alignment with SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being and SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
The Poster & Slogan Writing Activity was organized on the theme “Nasha Mukt Bharat – Say Yes to Life,” in which students of BA Hons. I, III, and V Sem participated enthusiastically. The activity was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Soni Chauhan, Faculty of English, Department of Languages, with the objective of creating awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promoting a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
The Best Award in the Activity was presented to Krish, BA Hons. I Semester in recognition of outstanding creativity, originality, and effective presentation of the theme.
