When the White Coats Met the Black Coats!
Continuing with the tradition of creating awareness among the masses regarding the ill effects of tobacco, a first of its kind dental camp was held at the District Bar Association, Meerut, by the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology. The camp included dental screening, oral cancer screening and a short oral cancer awareness lecture delivered by Dr. Ekta Vishnoi, highlighting the importance of early detection, awareness and timely intervention.
The camp team included Dr, Mohnish Mucchal, Dr. Purnima Gupta, Dr. Rosal Jain, Dr. Manas Agarwal, Dr. Nandita Verma, Dr. Saumya Suman & Dr. Isha Singh and total of 85 patients were screened during the camp.
The President of the District Bar Association, Adv. Ravindra Kumar Singh, and the General Secretary, Adv. Prashant Gupta, were thankful for the efforts put in by Subharti Dental College & Hospital for making this initiative possible.
The participating team from Subharti Dental College & Hospital was accorded with exceptional hospitality. The team was felicitated with a token of appreciation to every member. This camp marks the beginning of future collaborations between the lawyers and the doctors — coming together for oral health awareness, cancer awareness and service to the community.
