Nabzz report on “How to Write and Submit Research Papers in Good Journals”

Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (MASCHNYS), Faculty of AYUSH, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU), Meerut, organized a workshop on “How to Write and Submit Research Papers in Good Journals” on 3rd September 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Conference Hall, MASCHNYS. The workshop was organized with the objective of enhancing the research and scientific writing skills of postgraduate students and providing them with practical guidance on preparing and publishing research papers in reputed journals.

The workshop focused on developing an understanding of the structure and essential components of a scientific research paper, familiarizing participants with the process of selecting suitable and reputed journals, and providing guidance on manuscript preparation and submission procedures. The session also aimed to explain common reasons for manuscript rejection and strategies for improving the quality, clarity, and scientific presentation of research papers.

The workshop began with a warm welcome to the resource person Dr. Meenakshi, Assistant Professor, Department of Yoga Education, Dr. Hari Singh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, conducted the session and offered practical guidance on scientific writing and research publication. She discussed the essential components of a research manuscript, including the title, abstract, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, and references. Special emphasis was given to ensuring scientific clarity, logical organization, accurate referencing, consistency, and proper presentation throughout the manuscript.

The session also covered important aspects of journal selection and publication practices. Participants were guided on how to identify appropriate journals based on the scope and relevance of their research, indexing status, quality standards, publication policies, and author guidelines. The resource person highlighted the importance of verifying the authenticity and credibility of journals and cautioned participants against submitting manuscripts to predatory journals. Guidance was also provided regarding common causes of manuscript rejection and the importance of carefully following journal-specific submission requirements to improve the chances of successful publication.

A total of 18 postgraduate students attended and actively participated in the workshop. The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks to the resource person and all participants for their valuable contribution and active involvement in making the workshop successful. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Jyoti Madhur, Assistant Professor, MASCHNYS, SVSU, Meerut.
