A Legal Litracy and sensitization program
In Village Lakhwaya & Mohammadpur Lala
As part of the Constitution Week, a sensitization program was organized in two villages of Meerut on the subject of legal rights of girls under the legal awareness program on November 22. Shri Saraswati Namah: College Principal Mrs. Shikha Sharma and Manager Mr. Manav welcomed the teachers and students of Subharti Law Institute in the program organized at Kanya Inter College, Lakhwaya, Meerut.
Shalini Goyal, teacher of Subharti Law Institute, gave information about free legal aid to the girl students. He said that the aim of the free legal aid program is to make people aware of fundamental and legal rights. Student Aastha Vishnoi gave information about the right to education. Priya Chowdhary told the girl students about the right of equal pay for men and women. Anamika gave detailed information about child sex crimes. Aditi educated the students about the discrimination faced by women. Student Ankita Raj Bharti gave information on the topic of sexual harassment of women.
At Kaushik Inter College, Mohammadpur Lala, Meerut, the founders of the college, Kanhaya Lal Kaushik and Dr. Mahesh Kaushik welcomed the Legal Awareness Campaign team. Shalini Goyal said that the objective of Subharti Vidhi Sansthan is to spread legal awareness under the legal awareness campaign and to inform about the rights of individuals. Apart from this, Subharti Law Institute is providing free legal consultation service to the poor and helpless sections of the society.
