Alumni Guest Lecture on
“Clinical Research in International Institutions: Best Practices and Insights” followed by interactive session with BDS Final Year and Interns
Dr. Akanksha Gupta (Alumnus, Subharti Dental College and Hospital) who is working as a Clinical Research Supervisor and Protocol Project Manager, University of California, San Francisco, delivered a Guest lecture on the topic of “Clinical Research in International Institutions: Best Practices and Insights” on 25th October 2023 to all faculty and postgraduates of Subharti Dental College and Hospital.
She did her BDS, MDS-Oral Medicine and Radiology from Subharti Dental College and Hospital, SVSU. She later pursued her MHA (California State University, Long Beach, USA). She enlightened our budding post graduates and clinical practitioners on the importance of conducting research and its scope as career in various International Institutions. It was an insightful session in which everyone participated whole-heartedly. She was felicitated by our dynamic Principal Dr. Nikhil Srivastava Sir and Professor and Head, Dr. Nagaraju K. This session was followed by an interactive session with BDS Final Year and Interns. Students’ response was overwhelming and they asked her questions regarding scope of clinical research and career options in this field abroad. Such activities increases students and alumni bond and is one of the most important objective of SVSU Alumni Trust.
