REPORT ON ALUMNI GUEST LECTURE

A Guest lecture was organized by Acharya Vishnu Gupt Subharti College of Management & Commerce (AVGSCMC) on 28.9 2023. It was given by Ms. Pratistha for B.Com/B.Com (H)/MBA students. She was alumnus of 2019-2022 batch. Presently, she is working as Senior Executive Customer Delight, Blinkkit-Zomato.

In her talk, she introduced herself and discussed about her journey in AVGSCMC which has molded and sculpted her to this position as she is now. She conveyed her gratitude for their high end support during her graduation. She expressed her happiness about her success because of AVGSCMC as it has given her more values and virtues

The guest lecture was about ‘Online Reputation Management. She began by emphasizing the importance of online reputation and its impact on personal and professional life. She explained that online reputation encompasses perception of individuals and businesses on the internet through various online platforms, including social media, review websites, blogs and search engines.

The speaker stressed the significance of actively monitoring one’s online presence. She recommended using tools and services like Google Alerts, social media monitoring tools. She emphasized the importance of remaining calm and professional when responding to criticism and negative comments. Strategies included responding courteously, addressing concerns, and seeking resolution

A total of 109 students attended the session. The talk was highly informative and useful to the students.

Prof. (Dr.) R.K.Ghai ,Dean –FoMC & Director –AVGSCMC, graced the occasion with his welcome speech.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Preety, the alumni coordinator of AVGSCMC, helped in arranging the guest lecture. The lecture was attended by students and all the faculty members of AVGSCMC
