Students from the Sculture department displayed their artistic prowess by cutting and shaping waste metal sheets into an artistic sculpture and using it as a canvas. The sculpture is now showcased for public display at one of the entrances of the University.

Students; Ravi Kumari, Mohd. Faraz, Shalini Sharma, Insha Ansari, Anval Fatima, Khushi Massey, Vidushi Chaudhary and Anjali Chaudhary painted the sculpture within a week under the expert supervision of Shri Vipin Kathuria.

Mr. Ashish Mishra and Mr. Lucky Tyagi also played a vital role in their cooperation as they taught students how to perfect their abstract artwork using various colouring techniques.

Dr. Pintu Mishra, Dean Faculty of Fine Arts, praised the work of the students and added that the best creativity is nurtured in an open environment where the students feel encouraged to unfurl their creativity and emerge as budding artists.

Subharti University has many such sculptures throughout the campus where one can see waste turned into a piece of art. Visit the posts below to learn and view more.
