Department of Physical Education Cadets Bring Glory to Subharti with Historic Selection for AITSC 2026
Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, celebrates a moment of immense pride and distinction as two exceptional NCC cadets from the Department of Physical Education — Cadet Aditya Kumar Yadav and Cadet Akshay Kumar — have been selected to participate in the prestigious All India Thal Sainik Camp (AITSC) 2026, New Delhi.
This remarkable achievement marks a historic milestone in the journey of NCC at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, as Cadet Aditya Kumar Yadav and Cadet Akshay Kumar have become the first NCC cadets from the University to be selected for the All India Thal Sainik Camp since the establishment of the University’s NCC Unit.
Their selection is not merely an individual accomplishment; it is a moment of immense pride for the entire Subharti family. Following a rigorous selection and screening process, their achievement reflects their exceptional discipline, physical fitness, determination, perseverance, leadership qualities, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Adding further distinction to this achievement, both cadets have earned the honour of representing the Uttar Pradesh Directorate at the national-level AITSC, placing the name of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University and 70 UP Battalion NCC on a prestigious national platform.
The All India Thal Sainik Camp is one of the prominent national-level camps conducted under the National Cadet Corps, bringing together selected cadets from across the country. Participation at this level provides cadets with an opportunity to demonstrate their military skills, physical proficiency, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and competitive spirit.
