Report on Quiz Competition -Akhand Bharat Swatantrata Diwas Mahaparv– 19-09-2026
The Department of Education, Faculty of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organized a Quiz Competition under the Akhand Bharat Swatantrata Diwas Mahaparv–2026 on 19 September 2026 at the Conference Hall, Department of Education. The programme was organized to enhance students’ knowledge of India’s freedom struggle and to develop patriotism, leadership, discipline, communication skills, confidence and a sense of responsible citizenship.The quiz was judged by Dr. Ashok Tyagi, Editor, Prabhat Newspaper and Professor, Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, SVSU, Meerut, and Dr. Manoj Kumar Tripathi, Associate Professor, Department of Art and Social Sciences, SVSU, Meerut. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students. The questions covered Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the Indian National Army (INA), the Azad Hind Government of 1943, major freedom movements, historical declarations, international influence, national character, leadership and moral decision-making.

The judges appreciated the students for their active participation, subject knowledge, confidence and team spirit. The participants also expressed positive feedback and shared that they thoroughly enjoyed the quiz and found it informative and engaging.
On the occasion, Dr. Pintu Mishra, Dean, Fine Arts & Faculty of Education, also congratulated the students for their active participation and encouraged them to continue taking part in such academic and co-curricular activities for their overall development. Anoj Raj, Head, Department of Education, congratulated all the participants and appreciated their enthusiasm and performance. The Activity Coordinator, Dr. Reeba Devi, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, extended her heartfelt thanks to the judges, university authorities, faculty members and all participating students for their valuable contribution and cooperation in making the programme successful. The programme concluded on a positive note, with students gaining not only historical knowledge but also valuable experience in teamwork, communication, confidence, time management and leadership.
