On the occasion of World Physical therapy Day 8th September Jyotirao Phule Subharti College of Physiotherapy, SVSU, Meerut organized a free camp for physical education students and faculty. The aim of the camp was to diagnose sports-related injuries and give its Physiotherapy Management.
The inauguration of the camp was done by Dr. Jasmine Anandabai (Principal, JRPSCPT), Dr. Sandeep Chaudhary (Dean, Faculty of Education, Head, Department of Physical Education), Col. Rajesh Tyagi, Director, Subharti Defence Academy)
Dr. Jasmine highlighted the importance of Physiotherapy for sportspeople and athletes. She said that Physiotherapy is not only required after injury but also for preventing injuries and preparing the players for their respective Sports.
Dr. Danish, Dr. Surandar, Dr. Kayinat, Dr. Latika Gulyani, and Dr. Gaurav Tyagi assessed athletes and faculty and gave their Physiotherapy advice and treatment. The camp ended with a vote of thanks from Dr. Sandeep expressing their gratitude for organizing the camp.
