Nandlal Bose Subharti College of Fine Arts, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, successfully organized an insightful Career Counseling Lecture on Thursday, 25th September 2025. The session, titled “Art Meets AI: Freelancing Smarter with Digital Marketing”, was conducted by experts from Delhi Institute of Digital Marketing (DIDM), renowned as Asia’s best digital marketing training company.
The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to the DIDM team by Prof. Dr. Pintu Mishra, Dean and Principal, and Prof. Dr. Pooja Gupta, Head of the Department, Fine Arts. The program began with the traditional lighting of the lamp ceremony, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the ushering in of knowledge.
Mr Shoeb Ali, Sr. Digital Marketing Trainer, DIDM, delivered an enriching session on digital marketing, emphasizing how modern-day artists can leverage AI and freelancing platforms to build successful careers. His talk provided valuable insights into the intersection of art and technology, empowering students to think beyond conventional career paths.
The lecture proved to be highly beneficial for both undergraduate and postgraduate students from the Departments of Animation, Fashion, Performing Arts, and Fine Arts, who enthusiastically participated in the event. More than 100 students participated. The session equipped them with practical knowledge about freelancing in the digital era and exploring innovative career opportunities in the dynamic world of digital marketing. All the students will also receive certificates.
Additionally, Mr. Siddharth Jain, Project Head of DIDM, shared a detailed overview of the Delhi Institute of Digital Marketing, its programs, and the future scope of digital marketing as a career. His session generated great interest among students, many of whom expressed their enthusiasm to pursue further learning and certification in digital marketing through DIDM.
As a token of appreciation, the Department of Fine Arts honored the speakers and the DIDM institute with citations and certificates for their contribution. Dr. Anshu Srivastava, Coordinator of the Applied Arts Department, extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to the entire DIDM team, faculty members, and students for making the event a grand success.
Such career counseling initiatives reflect the college’s ongoing commitment to guiding students towards a brighter and more versatile professional future. This successful session not only broadened students’ understanding of digital marketing but also opened new pathways for them to explore careers in the digital creative economy.
