“Career & Entrepreneurship Opportunities after Master of Education”
A Guest Lecture on “Career & Entrepreneurship Opportunities after M.Ed. Programme was successfully organized on dated 29.05.2026 by the Department of Education, Faculty of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, to create awareness among students regarding various professional and entrepreneurial opportunities available after completing the Master of Education (M.Ed.) programme.
Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar Sharma, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut and Prof. Shalya Raj, CEO, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut and Prof. Dr. Pintu Misra Dean Faculty of Education, conveyed their best wishes towards the success of the event.
The lecture was started with welcoming the Guest Prof. Dr. Dori Lal Sharma, from Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi, India, with a Plantae by Prof. Dr. Anoj Raj, Head Department of Education and Prof. Dr. Indira Singh, Professor Department of Education, Faculty of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut.
The lecture aimed to guide aspiring educators toward diverse career pathways in the field of education and encourage self-employment through innovative educational ventures. Faculty members, subject experts of education, and students actively participated in the event.
Dr. Sharma highlighted his expertise by giving numerous career opportunities available for M.Ed. graduates, including positions as teacher educators, educational administrators, curriculum developers, guidance counsellors, researchers, academic coordinators, and online educators, NGOs, and digital learning platforms. Special emphasis was given to the growing demand for skilled educational professionals in NCERT, UGC & NCTE along with the degree of Ph.D. from reputed Universities and NET (National Eligibility Test) was explained in Detail.
The session also focused on entrepreneurship in education. Participants were informed about opportunities to establish coaching centres, educational consultancies, skill development institutes, online teaching platforms, and counselling services. The Resource Person also encouraged students to become self-reliant and contribute to educational innovation through start-ups and educational enterprises.
Interactive discussions and question-answer sessions helped students gain practical insights into professional growth, leadership skills, digital education, and educational management. The programme motivated participants to explore modern educational technologies and lifelong learning opportunities.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Dr. Bhuvnesh Sharma (Assistant Professor), Department of Education by gratitude to the resource persons, faculty members, and students for making the programme successful. The guest lecture proved to be informative, inspiring, and beneficial for future educators and entrepreneurs in the field of education.

Students, and the faculty members of the Department of Education as Dr. Mumtaz Sheikh, Dr. Reeba Devi, Dr. Rubi, Dr. Ragini Srivastava, Dr. Roopam Jain, and Dr. Reshu Rani and the research scholars were very passionate, energetic and motivated by this guest lecture. The event ended in a happy environment.
