CERTIFICATION COURSE ON OZONE THERAPY
A four-day certification course in Ozone Therapy was successfully held from March 10th to March 13th, 2026, at Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences. The programme was designed to enhance healthcare professionals’ knowledge, clinical understanding, and practical skills in ozone treatment and its therapeutic applications. The seminar was attended by 20 doctors who were eager to learn more about the principles and practical applications of ozone therapy in integrative and alternative healthcare.
NIN, Pune, conducted a certification programme that included professional training sessions led by Dr. Pranav Khawale, Assistant Professor, and Dr. Marshalein Anthony, Medical Officer, at the National Institute of Naturopathy, Govt. of India, Pune. They provided in-depth academic and practical insights into ozone therapy, covering its fundamentals, including the mechanism of action, therapeutic benefits, indications, and contraindications. The sessions also covered the scientific foundations of ozone therapy and its growing importance in modern integrative medicine.
Dr. Abhishek Jain, Senior Naturopathy and Yoga Physician, also delivered an insightful presentation on Ozone Therapy and Nutrition. During his presentation, he emphasised the critical link between nutrition and treatment outcomes, demonstrating how adequate nutritional support can enhance the effectiveness of ozone therapy and improve patient recovery.
Dr Sanjay Pandey, Professor, Department of General Surgery, Chhatrapati Shivaji Subharti Hospital, Meerut. U.P delivered another informative lecture on wounds, wound healing, and dressing procedures. He reviewed several areas of wound treatment, emphasising the need for proper wound care procedures to enhance healing outcomes.
The four-day certification course provided an instructive and enriching academic experience for all attendees. It significantly increased healthcare professionals’ understanding of ozone therapy and emphasised the need to combine novel therapeutic modalities with naturopathy and holistic healthcare practices. The programme was completed with good participant response, indicating that the institution’s academic initiative to promote advanced therapeutic knowledge and professional skill development was a success.
