Cognitive Function and Mental Well-being 

An awareness program on “Cognitive Function and Mental Well-being – Naturopathic and Yogic Approach” was successfully conducted at Subharti Yoga & Naturopathy Hospital on 22nd March 2025. Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, SVSU, Meerut organized the event for the BJMC (Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication) Students to educate participants on the benefits of naturopathy and yoga in enhancing cognitive function and mental health.

Dr. Abhay Kumar, Assistant Professor, MASCHNYS a distinguished naturopathy and Yoga expert, elaborated on the role of natural therapies, herbal remedies, and dietary practices in supporting brain health. He emphasized the importance of a balanced diet rich in antioxidants and essential nutrients to enhance cognitive abilities.

Yoga specialist Dr. Azad Singh, MD 3rd Year PG Scholar, conducted an interactive session on yogic techniques such as meditation, breathing exercises (Pranayama), and specific asanas that help in reducing anxiety, improving focus, and boosting mental resilience. Participants actively engaged in the practical demonstrations and expressed enthusiasm for incorporating these practices into their daily routines.

Overall, the awareness program was highly informative and well-received by attendees, highlighting the growing interest in natural and yogic methods to maintain cognitive function and mental wellness.
