CONTINUING DENTAL EDUCATION PROGRAMME
Under the leadership and continuous guidance of Dr. Nikhil Srivastava, Principal, Subharti Dental College & Hospital, and esteemed Dr. Mayur Kaushik, Professor & HOD, Department of Periodontology & Implantology, Subharti Dental College & Hospital. CDE program on the topic “Bloodless Surgeries” was organized on 20th July, 2024 by the Department of Pediatric& Preventive Dentistry and Department of Periodontology & Implantology, Subharti Dental College & Hospital.
The event included a series of lectures, followed by Hands on – on animal models and live demonstration on patients. The speakers for the event were:
Dr. Pavitra Rastogi, Professor, Department of Periodontology & Implantology, KGMU, Lucknow. The lecture delivered was on Electrosurgery, followed by hands on animal models. The demonstration on animal models was given by Dr. Mayur Kaushik, Dr. Nitin Tomar & Dr. Nazar Rana
Dr. M.S. Saravana, Professor & Head, Department of Pediatric& Preventive Dentistry. The lecture delivered was on LASERS. The lecture was accompanied by hands-on animal models.
Dr. Prajesh Dubey, Professor, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Subharti Dental College & Hospital, Delivered a lecture on Cryosurgery. It was accompanied by live demonstrations on patients.
The CDE program was also graced by the presence of Dr. Himanshu Aeran, pro Vice Chancellor, Subharti University who shed some light on the importance of multidisciplinary approach for various dental treatments.
