Educational Visit Report to Deaf and Dumb School

An educational visit to a Deaf and Dumb School was organized by Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU) for the GNM 1st Year students on 16 and 17 September 2026 as part of their curriculum. A total of 50 students participated on the first day and 50 students on the second day, under the guidance and supervision of Mrs. Himani Singh, Mrs. Priya Bhardwaj, and Ms. Rishita. The visit provided the students with an opportunity to interact with children with hearing and speech disabilities, understand their needs and challenges, and develop awareness, empathy, compassion, and a sense of social responsibility. As a gesture of care and support, the students donated various useful stationery items, including notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, drawing and colouring materials, and other essential stationery items to the school. The visit was an enriching and meaningful experience for the students, helping them understand the importance of inclusive education, effective communication, kindness, and community participation. It also encouraged them to contribute positively towards the well-being and educational development of children with special needs and reinforced the values of compassion, service, and humanity among future healthcare professionals.
