The journey commenced at 7:30 a.m. from the university campus. The Head of Department, Dr. Jyoti Gaur, along with all faculty members , flagged off the bus and wished the students a fruitful learning experience.
Upon reaching the Parliament House, Mr. P.K. Malik (Director, Lok Sabha Secretariat) welcomed the students and introduced them to the Old Parliament Building. He explained in detail the working of the Parliament, its rules and regulations, and patiently addressed students’ queries. He also motivated them by highlighting the importance of the democratic system.
Following this, the Parliament tour was conducted under the guidance of Mr. Manish (Coordinator), Mr. Ankur (Co-Coordinator), and Mr. Lalit, who briefed the students about different sections of the Parliament House and made the entire visit informative and enriching.
On this occasion, light refreshments and snacks were also arranged for the students by the Lok Sabha Secretariat with the support of Mr. Malik, which further added to their enthusiasm.
