An Essay Writing Competition was successfully organized by the Department of Physical Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, on the patriotic theme “Vande Mataram.” The competition aimed to promote national values, patriotism, and creative expression among students.
The event was graced by Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Education, who encouraged the participants and emphasized the importance of patriotism and moral values in higher education. Dr. Manju Adhikari, Head of the Department of Physical Education, played a key role in organizing the event and motivating students for active participation.
The competition was judged by Dr. Seema Sharma, Head of the Department of Languages, who appreciated the depth of thought, originality, and writing skills of the participants.
The results of the competition were announced as follows:
- First Position: Kashish — JPSCP College
- Second Position: Prachi — Department of Physical Education
- Third Position: Vipasyana Anand — Nursing College
- Fourth Position: Visakha — Nursing College
- Fifth Position: Prachi — Nursing College
The event was attended by faculty members Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Deepak Raghav, Dr. Atul Tiwari, Dr. Ankit Singh Jadon, Dr. Nishant, Mr. Shubham Rathi, and Mr. Mohd. Sartaz, who encouraged the students throughout the competition.
The program concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation, reflecting the university’s commitment to holistic education and nation-building.
