Department of Physical Education Organizes Grand Farewell for Outgoing Batches
The Department of Physical Education at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University organized a grand and memorable farewell party for the outgoing batches of B.P.E.S, B.P.Ed, M.P.Ed, and M.A. Yoga on 23rd April 2026 at the Seminar Hall, Faculty of Education. The event was conducted to extend a warm and heartfelt farewell to the graduating students, making the occasion a perfect blend of joy, celebration, and emotional moments.
The program commenced with a warm welcome, setting a vibrant and positive tone for the event. A series of cultural performances, including dance, music, and engaging entertainment activities, added enthusiasm and excitement to the celebration. Students actively participated, showcasing their talents and contributing to the lively atmosphere. Alongside the celebrations, the event also witnessed emotional moments where junior students expressed their gratitude and best wishes, while seniors shared their experiences, cherished memories, and academic journey within the department.
The event was successfully organized under the inspiring guidance of the Head of the Department, Dr. Manju Adhikari, whose continuous support and leadership played a pivotal role in making the farewell well-coordinated and memorable. Her presence motivated both students and faculty members.
The Dean Faculty of Education, Dr. Pintu Mishra, graced the occasion and contributed significantly to the smooth execution of the program. The presence and support with lots of blessing of Head of Education Dr. Anoj Raj and faculty members, including Dr. Neha Singh and Dr. Indra Singh, further strengthened the event’s success. The collective efforts of faculty members Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Atul Kumar Tiwari, Dr. Nishant Kumar, Dr. Ankit Singh Jadon, Mr. Shubham Rathi, Mr. Sharad Panwar, Ms. Deepanshu Choudhary, Mr. Sanjith T.K, and Sartaz Khan ensured the seamless organization of the farewell. Over all coordinator of the event was Dr.Nishant Kumar
Several titles and recognitions were awarded to students during the event. Mr. Sahil Kumar (B.P.Ed) and Ms. Renu (B.P.Ed) were crowned Mr. and Ms. Farewell respectively, while Mr.Vikrant and Ms. Sneha received the Mr. and Ms. Farewell titles for M.P.Ed. Mr.Tanishk was recognized as Mr. Farewell for M.A. Yoga. Ms. Nikki Dhaka was honoured as Student of the Year. Robin Chaddha and Nishi Pal received the titles of Mr. Studious and Ms. Studious respectively. Other recognitions included Nishant Kumar as Mr. Charming, Divyanshi Verma as Ms. Versatile, Abhishek as Mr. All-Rounder, and Nitish Malik as Mr. Fitness.
The farewell concluded on a joyful yet emotional note, leaving behind lasting memories for both students and faculty. The Department extended heartfelt gratitude to CEO Prof. Dr. Shalya Raj and Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Pramod Kumar for their continuous support and encouragement in ensuring the successful conduct of the event.
