Two days of “Faculty Development Programme cum Workshop” on “Research Methodology & Applied Statistics”.
Major Dhyan Chand Department of Physical Education, Faculty of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut organized two days of “Faculty Development Programme cum Workshop ” on “Research Methodology & Applied Statistics’ ‘.
This lecture was begun with the welcome address of all the dignitaries by Mr. Arun Vasthav. Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, Dean Faculty of Education and Director of FDP, formally welcomed the eminent speaker Professor (Dr.) Rajeev Chaudhary, Head of the Department Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and also highlighted his academic and professional achievements and also welcomed all the Dean, principal, HOIs, Faculty members, and students.
The FDP cum Workshop started by following the Subharti tradition, Saraswati Vandana, and lamp enlightening. Dean faculty of education honored the resource person Dr. Rajeev with sapling and patka. After the tea break, the resource person started his presentation and highlighted the basic concepts of research. Dr. Rajeev Chaudhary also deliberated on the basic concepts of statistics.
The total no. of participants was Approximately 120 from different colleges.
Professor (Dr.) Mahaveer Singh Dean, Science college, Professor (Dr.) R.K. Ghai, Dean of management college, Professor (Dr.) Manoj Kapil Dean of Engineering College, Professor Shaukender Kumar Dean Pharmacy college, Professor Theledi HOD journalism college, Dr. Anoj Raj HOD, Education department, Mrs. Nandini Singh, DR Neetu Panwar, FDP advisor and Dr. Divesh Chaudhary, organizing secretary, the faculty members from different colleges and students were present in this FDP cum Workshop.
On the 2nd day of the workshop professor, Rajeev Chaudhary explained the parametric and nonparametric techniques, methods, and applications in statistics. Dr. Rajeev addressed and presented a wonderful presentation on test normality, the Application, and the method of ANOVA in the morning session. He explained the hardest topic most easily. The keynote speaker D.r Rajeev Chaudhary was honored by Professor (Dr.) Sandeep Chaudhary. Professor Rajeev thanked the vice-chancellor of the university, chief executive officer Dr. Shailya Raj, Pro vice-chancellor, and congratulated Dr. Sandeep Kumar dean of the faculty of education for organizing the FDP cum workshop, and also shared his wonderful experience in the university. A vote of thanks was given by doctor Anoj Kumar, head of the Department of Education. Certificates were distributed to the participants at the end of the workshop.
