The Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Subharti Department of Journalism and Mass Communication (GSVSDJMC), Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organized a guest lecture on “Advertising Campaigns” on April 16, 2026. The objective of the programme was to provide students with practical exposure to the planning, execution, and significance of advertising in today’s competitive media environment.
The resource person for the lecture was Dr. Yogendra Pandey, Associate Professor, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, CSJM University, Kanpur. In his insightful session, Dr. Pandey discussed the evolution of advertising from traditional formats to modern digital campaigns. He emphasized the importance of creativity, audience understanding, and strategic communication in developing successful advertising campaigns. He also shared practical examples to illustrate how brands use storytelling and innovative techniques to engage consumers and build strong market presence.
