The Department of Fashion and Textile Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, successfully organized a guest lecture on the topic “How to Draft Research Proposal” on 26th March 2026 at Amrita Shergill Conference Hall.
The session was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Choudhary from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, a distinguished academician with vast experience in teaching and research.
The lecture aimed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of research methodology and the essential components of drafting an effective research proposal. Prof. Choudhary elaborated on key aspects such as selection of research topics, formulation of objectives, literature review, research design, and proper structuring of proposals. He also emphasized the importance of originality, clarity, and a systematic approach in research work.
The program was organized by Dr. Neha Singh, Head, Department of Fashion and Textile Design, and coordinated by Dr. Surabhi Das. The event was conducted under the guidance of Dean, Prof. (Dr.) Pintu Mishra.
Faculty members who graced the occasion included Ms. Neetu Teotia, Ms. Shruti Vats, Ms. Monika Verma, Mr. Raghavendra Pathak, Mr. Lakshh Khanna, and Dr. Pavanendra Tiwari, along with active participation from students.
