Guest Lecture on ‘Method of Estimation and Costing’ Organized by Interior Design Department at Nandlal Bose Subharti College of Fine Arts and Fashion Design
The Interior Design Department of Nandlal Bose Subharti College of Fine Arts and Fashion Design, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organized a Guest Lecture on the topic ‘Method of Estimation and Costing’ on 19/08/2025 (Tuesday) to enhance the academic and professional knowledge of the students.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Pintu Mishra, Dean of the College, Dr. Neha Singh, Head of the Department, and Er. Shailja Sindhay, Department Coordinator, with active support from faculty members Er. Monika Verma, Er. Shabnam Shabir, and Er. Raghvendra Mohan Pathak.
The distinguished Resource Person, Er. Kapil Kumar Vashistha, Assistant Professor at Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Agra, delivered an insightful lecture focusing on the principles, methodologies, and applications of estimation and costing in the field of interior design and construction. He emphasized the significance of accurate estimation in ensuring cost efficiency and effective project management.
The session was highly informative and interactive, allowing students to gain practical knowledge and address their queries related to industry practices. The lecture not only broadened their academic understanding but also strengthened their professional perspective towards the subject.
