The celebration of Hindi Diwas commemorates September 14, since 1949, the day when the Constitution assembly of India took the decision to make the Hindi official language of the Union Government. For Hindustanis, Hindi is not only a language but also an emotion to express love, devotion and affection towards our nation, it is our identity as we use to say that “Hindi hain hum watan se”, consequently keeping this mind , on 14th September, 20222, Hindi Diwas was celebrated by Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Department of Home Science, SVSU, Meerut, wherein all students of the department participated in Shudh Ucharan and Lekhnib Pratiyogita included writing and pronouncing some very difficult words of Hindi language which are almost disappear for our dictionary. The department Dr. Nishma Singh, and other faculty members, Dr. Shalu Nehra, Ms. Neetu Yadav, Ms. Virendra Pal Kaur and Ms. Urvashi Sharma. Appreciation certificates were also distributed to the winners students, all students greatly enjoyed the session and vanish the dust on the writing and speaking skills of Hindi.
