In Memorandum of Understanding with Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College, the Glorious International Nursing Research and Academic Foundation has organized a webinar for the inauguration ceremony of the Certificate course in Palliative care on 23.08.2022 at 6.30 pm.
The Programme started exactly at 6.30 pm through google meet. Prof. Anandh Sam Perera. S was the Master of Ceremony and welcomed all the gatherings with the introduction of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University and the Glorious International Nursing Research and Academic Foundation.
The welcome address was given by Dr Ravindra HN, Executive Director, GINRA foundation, where he welcomed all the guests and the participants for the inaugural session followed by a Prayer song by Ms Shristi Solomon and Ms Tana Jenu, B.Sc iii yr students.
Without the leader, nothing can be held. The opening remark was given by Dr Geeta Parwanda, Principal & Dean, Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College, where she insisted on the value of palliative care in this era.
Mr Swapnil Rahane, the course coordinator of the palliative course gave a detailed orientation about the course, its fees and duration, and its mode.
The next speaker for the inaugural to give an address was Dr Jothi Clara. J. Michael, Director of Nursing, IIH Healthcare of India, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She shared various experiences in what level of palliative care is needed and the interdisciplinary teamwork in caring for the patient will help to lead the life peacefully at the last stage.
Nearly by 7.20 pm, the chief guest of the programme Col. Binu Sharma, Senior Director Nursing, Max Healthcare institute limited, NewDelhi appreciated the organization for taking the effort to start this programme. Also congratulated the first batch of students for choosing this course.
After the chief guest speech, Prof. Anandh Sam Perera delivered the vote of thanks and brought the programme to end at 8.00 pm.
