AzadiKaAmritMahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of the nation. Under the aegis of AzadiKaAmritMahotsav, ‘HarGharTiranga’ is a campaign launched by GOI to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to spot the 75th year of India’s independence.
We have always been more formal and institutional with our flag than personal.
Under the campaign when we are bringing the flag home collectively as a nation it is adding to the act of personal connection to the Tiranga.
On the 13th of August 2022, the students, principal, faculty, and staff of Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College, Swami Vivekananda Subharti University in collaboration with NSS Unit III, SVSU, contributed to ‘HarGharTiranga’ campaign by hoisting the national flag at Subharti Nursing College. On this occasion Dr. GeetaParwanda, Principal, PDMSNC highlighted the idea behind the initiative and invoked the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the students. The students created Human Chain and formed a map of India in front of the nursing college.
The members of the nursing college which includes students, principals, faculty, and staff participated with utmost enthusiasm.
