The programme was conducted with the objective of enhancing the professional competencies of faculty members through interdisciplinary learning, scientific perspectives, and practical exposure to yoga-based approaches for holistic education and well-being. The programme featured an insightful session by Dr. Laxmi Narayan Joshi, Professor and Head, Department of Science and Dean, Modern Knowledge & Science, Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar, who served as the Resource Person for the event. The session also focused on innovative pedagogical approaches, interdisciplinary research opportunities, and the importance of holistic education in alignment with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

A practical session was subsequently conducted at the Yoga Practical Hall, where participants were introduced to various yoga practices, breathing techniques, relaxation methods, and mindfulness exercises. Faculty members actively participated in the demonstrations and gained hands-on experience regarding the application of yoga for personal wellness and professional effectiveness.

The programme provided an excellent platform for interaction, knowledge sharing, and professional development. Participants appreciated the practical orientation of the FDP and the valuable insights shared by the resource person.
