Intercollegiate Football Tournament (M&W)

Inter Collegiate Football Tournament hosted by Department of Physical Education, was held on 17th to 18th November, 2022, as part of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University’s ongoing Inter-Collegiate Football Tournament. Total no. of participants of the tournament was 111 and out of these men participants 75 and women 36 from various colleges of the university participated in the event.
The men’s categories in the Football competition were got 1st position by Major Dhyan Chand Department of Physical Education SVSU, 2nd Position by Acharya Vishnu Gupt Subharti Management College & 3rd Position by Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law.
The women’s categories in the Football competition were got 1st position by Major Dhyan Chand Department of Physical Education SVSU, 2nd Position by Department of Education & 3rd Position by Faculty of Fine Arts (NBSCFF).
A total of 111 participants from eight constituent colleges of Swami Vivekananda Subharti
University took part in the event that kicked off at 9:30 a.m. in the General Mohan Singh Playground. The inaugural match was between Department of Physical Education and Polytechnic College (Men), it started with all the enthusiasm and sporting spirits of the participants. Along with the Chief Guest Er. Akash Bhatnagar Head PPD. Heads and Deans of other colleges were also present. Prof. Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya, Dean Law College & Prof. Mahavir Singh, Dean Science College, Prof. Anoj Raj, Head Department of Education , Prof. Sarika Tyagi, Law College, Dr. Neha Singh, Head Department of Fashion & Textile Design & Dr. Sangeet Rani, Department of Education and inaugurated the event, welcomed the players, and wished them luck. Dean Faculty of Education and chairperson of the University Sports Committee, Dr. Sandeep Kumar graced the event and motivated the players with his motivational speech. Prof. Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya, also extended her blessings and wishes to the students. The overall event was coordinated by Dr. Manju Adhikari, Associate Professor, Physical Education. All coordinating members of Department of The Physical Education team was actively sustaining the duty regarding the tournament. Dr. Praveen Kumar, secretary of the sports committee, acted as the expert and gave all the directions throughout the completion of the event.
