Objectives:

  • To provide an overview of various journal selection resources for their research work.
  • To provide an insight about the tools available for researchers to identify reputable and legitimate journals to make informed decisions about the selection of journals.
  • To familiarize researchers with predatory and cloned journals, and the associated risks of publishing in them.
  • To promote best practices in journal selection to improve the quality and visibility of research publications.
