LEGAL LITERACY AND AWARENESS SESSION ORGANIZED BY SUBHARTI LAW COLLEGE
Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law organized a comprehensive Legal Literacy and Awareness Session at Seth B.K. Maheshwari Girls Inter College on 29 April 2026, aimed at strengthening students’ understanding of their fundamental rights, key constitutional provisions, and the importance of responsible citizenship. Prof. (Dr.) Reena Bishnoi delivered an engaging lecture, explained career opportunities in legal domain.
Adding further significance to the programme, the Chief Guest, IPS Vinayak Gopal Bhosale, SP City , Meerut, addressed students on crime prevention, personal safety, and maintaining awareness in everyday environments. He urged learners to remain vigilant, confident, and proactive, highlighting practical steps to enhance their safety and decision-making.
The session featured an insightful lecture delivered by Dr. Afreen Almas, who explained the core principles of the Constitution of India, emphasizing equality, liberty, justice, and the duties every citizen must uphold. Her address helped students relate constitutional values to real-life scenarios, encouraging them to be informed and responsible members of society.
Prof. (Dr.) Reena Bishnoi and Dr. Afreen Almas were also honoured with Certificates of Appreciation in recognition of their valuable efforts and contribution.
