PRAVAAH – THE FLOW ANNUAL LITERARY CLUB EVENTS
The Literary Club of Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law organized a series of literary and creative competitions under the title “PRAVAAH – The Flow” from 24th February to 28th February 2026. The objective of the event was to encourage intellectual engagement, creative expression, and meaningful dialogue among students on relevant social and legal themes.
The Annual Event commenced on 24th February 2026 with a ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolizing the beginning of an enlightening and intellectually engaging programme. The event was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Hon’ble Justice Rajesh Chandra, Director and Prof. (Dr.) Reena Bishnoi, Officiating Dean- Faculty of Law. The occasion was further graced by the presence of Ms. Shivani Aggarwal, one of the esteemed Alumni of the institution who was warmly welcomed by the organizers as the judge of the competition. The programme began with a Debate Competition on the topic “Have Public Welfare Schemes Become Merely a Tool for Grabbing Votes in India.” A total of 36 students actively participated and presented well-structured arguments and counterarguments, reflecting a thoughtful understanding of public policy, governance, and democratic processes.
On the same day, an Elocution Competition was organized on the topic “Right to Privacy vs. Government Surveillance: Striking a Constitutional Balance.” 22 students participated enthusiastically and delivered insightful speeches that examined the delicate balance between individual liberty and state security. The participants thoughtfully discussed constitutional principles, highlighting the importance of safeguarding citizens’ rights while ensuring effective governance and national security.
Additionally, an Essay Writing Competition was conducted on the topic “Role of Jan KalyanYojanas in Empowering the Marginalized Sections of Society.” 12 participated and submitted well-researched essays that explored the impact of welfare policies in uplifting disadvantaged communities. Through their writings, the participants emphasized the role of public welfare schemes in promoting social justice, inclusive growth, and equitable development within the framework of a democratic welfare state
On 26th February 2026, a series of creative literary and artistic competitions were organized to provide students with a platform to express their thoughts, emotions, and perspectives through diverse creative forms. The event was graced by the presence of Dr.Afreen Almas, Faculty of Law and also one of the esteemed alumni of the institution who was warmly welcomed as the Judge for the literary competitions The programme began with “Andaaz-E-SLC,” a Poetry Competition, which witnessed the participation of six students who presented thoughtful poems reflecting themes related to Society, Law, Human Emotions, and Moral values. This was followed by a Photography Competition on the theme “Subharti: A Blend of Heritage and Modernity,” in which eight students participated and creatively captured the essence of the university campus through their photographs, beautifully portraying its cultural heritage alongside its modern academic environment. The event also included “Ehsaas-E-SLC,” a Shayari Competition, where five students showcased their poetic abilities through expressive and meaningful shayari addressing various social and emotional themes. Dr. Almas appreciated the participants for their creativity, confidence, and the thoughtful manner in which they conveyed complex ideas and emotions through the events.
On 28th February 2026, a Poster Making Competition was organized on the theme “Save Resources Today, Secure the Future.” Five students participated and created impactful posters highlighting the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable development. The competition was judged by Adv. Anam, an alumni of the institution, who appreciated the creativity and awareness reflected in the participants’ work. Further a Monologue Competition was also conducted on the same day, in which two students delivered compelling performances reflecting social and emotional narratives.The competitions witnessed enthusiastic participation and active engagement from students, creating an atmosphere of intellectual exchange, creativity, and healthy competition. The judges appreciated the participants for their confidence, originality, and thoughtful presentations, and encouraged them to continue developing their literary and creative talents.
