Matka Decoration Competition Organized by the Department of Physical Education
Meerut, 04 September 2026: The Department of Physical Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organized a creative and engaging Matka Decoration Competition on 04 September 2026 at the Department of Physical Education as part of its creative and cultural activities.
The competition provided students with an excellent opportunity to showcase their creativity, artistic skills, imagination, and innovative ideas through the decoration of Matkas. Students participated with great enthusiasm and presented beautifully decorated Matkas reflecting their unique ideas and artistic abilities. The activity created a cheerful and creative environment and encouraged students to actively participate in cultural activities.
The competition was successfully coordinated by the Event Cultural Coordinator, Ms. Deepanshu Choudhary, under the valuable guidance and support of Dr. Manju Adhikari, Head, Department of Physical Education.
The department sincerely appreciates the valuable support and cooperation of Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Deepak Raghav, Dr. Ankit Singh Jadon, Dr. Nishant Kumar, Mr. Sharad Panwar, Mr. Subham Rathi, Mr. Sanjith T.K., and Mr. Sartaj Khan. Their active involvement, guidance and cooperation contributed significantly to the smooth and successful conduct of the competition.
The department also extends its heartfelt gratitude to the respected Dean, Faculty of Education, Dr. Pintu Mishra, for his valuable guidance, encouragement and continuous support in making the event successful.
The competition concluded on a joyful and positive note with students demonstrating remarkable enthusiasm and creativity. The event successfully encouraged artistic expression, innovation, cultural appreciation, and active student participation, making the Matka Decoration Competition a memorable and successful event for the department.
