Poster Making Activity Organized under “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat – Sankalp Abhiyan”

The Department of Physical Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organized a Poster Making Activity as part of the “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat – Sankalp Abhiyan”. The activity was aimed at creating awareness among young people about the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse and encouraging them to adopt a healthy, disciplined and responsible lifestyle.

The activity provided an opportunity for the students of the Department of Physical Education to express their ideas and concerns through creative artwork. All students of the Department of Physical Education actively participated in the activity and prepared posters conveying powerful messages against drug abuse. Through meaningful slogans, illustrations and creative presentations the students highlighted the physical, psychological, social and academic consequences associated with substance abuse.

The posters focused on themes such as “Say No to Drugs,” healthy living, self-discipline, positive use of youth energy and the importance of making responsible choices. The activity also emphasized that young people have an important role in creating awareness within their peer groups and contributing towards the larger vision of a drug-free society.

The programme was conducted under the guidance and leadership of  Dean Professor Pintu Mishra and Dr. Manju Adhikari, Head, Department of Physical Education. Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Deepak Raghav, Dr. Atul Tiwari, Mr. Subham Rathi, Dr. Nishant, Mr. Sharad Panwar, Ms. Deepanshu Choudhary, Mr. Sanjith T. K., Mohd. Sartaj and Mr. Lalit, Mr.Rahul Kumar were present during the activity and encouraged the students to actively participate in the campaign.

The teaching and non-teaching staff members of the Department extended their cooperation and support in making the activity meaningful and engaging. Their presence encouraged the students to communicate the message of a drug-free lifestyle in a creative and impactful manner.

The Poster Making Activity successfully combined creativity, awareness, and social responsibility. It strengthened the students’ understanding of the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and inspired them to become ambassadors of the message of a Drug-Free India. The initiative reflected the Department of Physical Education’s commitment towards the holistic development of students and their active participation in socially relevant campaigns.
