The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology & Oral Microbiology, Subharti Dental College & Hospital, a constituent college of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, U.P, organized National Oral Pathologists Day from 23rd to 25th February 2026 wherein the undergraduate students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. The day was celebrated to commemorate the 100th birth anniversary of the first Oral Pathologist of India Dr. H.M. Dholakia. A total of four competitions namely were organized which included Reel Making Competition, Histopathology Slide Rangoli competition, Histopathology based quiz competition, Real case based Slide diagnosis. More than 50 undergraduate students participated in above -mentioned events. The Programme emphasized on the role of Oral Pathologists in day to day diagnostics and spreading awareness among the undergraduate students of Subharti Dental College & Hospital about the role the Oral Pathologists play in diagnosis, management & determining the outcome of the disease process.
