Online expert lecture on the topic of “Entrepreneurial opportunities in Construction Management” was organized under Entrepreneurship Development Cell of the Institute on the 12th December 2020.Mr. Raktim Barman Roy presented his session in a unique way specifically for the students of Civil Engineering domain. The session covered the basics needed to venture into the first stage of entrepreneurship for a student in the construction field as well as it helped the students gather knowledge about various domains within Civil Engineering which have entrepreneurship scope.
The speaker, who has a rich background of handling projects both in India and abroad also stressed on the technical aspects etc such as surveying, earthwork and excavation, cut and bend steel The event was made successful under the guidance of Dr.
R.K Ghai, Director ,College of Management and Dr. Manoj Kapil, Dean and Principal, Engineering Institute of the University. They congratulated organizers of the event Er. Supratim Saha and Er. Ravi Agarwal and Er. Abhishek Tiwari, Head of Civil Engineering Department for making the program a success.
