Panna Dhai Maa Day Celebration
Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College celebrated Panna Dhai Maa Day on 07 March 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Nursing College campus. The program commenced with an inauguration ceremony held in front of the statue of Panna Dhai. The ceremony was conducted in the gracious presence of Dr. Geeta Parwanda, Dean & Principal of the college. The Guest of the Day was Ms. Seema, Associate Professor from the Faculty of Education, Language Department has joined the program. The event was attended by various faculty members and students.
Following the inauguration, lamp lightening is done and a series of competitions were organized at the Maharani Laxmi Bai Auditorium. Students from different colleges of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, including Polytechnic College, Education College, SITE College, and Nursing College, actively participated in the competitions. The activities included speech competition, poem recitation competition, and essay writing competition. In addition, a role play depicting the inspiring life journey and sacrifice of Panna Dhai was presented by the GNM 3rd year students, which was greatly appreciated by the audience.
The results of the competitions were declared by the Guest of the Day, Ms. Seema. In the Speech Competition, the winners were Divya, Swastika, and Sachin from the Nursing Department. In the Poem Competition, the winners were Swastika (Nursing Department), Taniya (Education Department), and Khushi (Nursing Department). In the Essay Writing Competition, the winners were Krishnandan, Shabana, and Riya Chaudhary from the Nursing Department.
Certificates were distributed to all the winners in recognition of their achievements. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Komal Saxena, Assistant Professor, PDMSNC. The event was successfully organized by Mrs. Nidhi, Assistant Professor, Mrs. Komal Saxena, Assistant Professor, under the guidance of Dr. Geeta Parwanda, Principal of Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College.
The celebration was conducted successfully and served as a meaningful occasion to remember and honor the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of Panna Dhai, inspiring students to learn from her exemplary life and values.
