So for the process of personality building, all students should be given two hours in the morning to know the news of the country and the world. Everyone should spend an hour writing before going to bed at night.
Program presenter and radio jockey Neha Kakkad of Akashvani Delhi shared her thoughts with the students of Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Subharti College of Journalism & Mass Communication
Key speaker Neha Kakkad in a special lecture on the Jan Jan Ki Awaz Radio program addressing the rise and development of the radio said India’s JC Bose invented the first wireless communication in the world but did not patent it. Guglielmo Marconi is called the father of radio for having the patent in his name. Neha Ji said that during program production producers have to organize the program, keeping their audience in mind, visualizing their geographical background. She said radio is the medium of voice so voice modulation plays an important role in it.
At the end of the program, Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Subharti College of Journalism & Mass Communication’s founder and principal Prof. Neeraj Karan Singh thanked Ms. Neha and said that the use of Akashvani as a medium has still got the first place among the mediums which have the most access to rural India. The radiowaves are known for their reliability in every household. It is important for the students of mass communication to learn about the production and broadcasting of radio programs.
The program was hosted by Assistant Professor Mrs. Preeti Singh and the students. All the students and staff including Prof. Ashok Tyagi, Dr. Gunjan Sharma, and Mr. Sanjay Jugran were present on this occasion.
