-Report on Camp at Village Saroorpur Khurd, Sardhana, Meerut-
Free Physiotherapy camp was organized by Chhatrapati Shivaji Subharti Hospital, Meerut along with Jyotirao Phule Subharti College of Physiotherapy, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University at Saroorpur Khurd, Sardhana, Meerut. The camp focused on rural populations with various musculo-skeletal/neurological/cardio-respiratory problems. The people in rural areas were assessed for their complaints like- low back pain, paralysis, shortness of breath, and knee pain. Various exercises were taught to them depending on their complaints and advice for postural correction was also given. A home exercise program was taught to individuals with mild to moderate musculo-skeletal/neurological/cardio-respiratory complaints. The importance of breathing exercises and proper posture during the field work, sitting and standing and general fitness exercises were also taught to the attendees. Dr. Alka Agarwal along with the BPT interns conducted the camp.
