POSTER COMPETITION ON NATIONAL YOUTH DAY

The Department of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy organized Poster Competition on the Occasion of youth day Celebration on 12th January 2026.  The competition was held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on the first floor of the JPSCP. A total of 12 students from the BPT -2022 Batch were actively participated, they were guided and supported by faculty members. The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Danish Nouman, Officiating HOD, Department of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, ensuring smooth organization and enthusiastic student involvement. The students prepared posters reflecting various aspects of youth health awareness, including the importance of physical activity, correct posture, ergonomics in daily life, prevention of sports injuries, and mental well-being. Each poster was designed to convey strong health messages through creative illustrations, slogans, and scientifically accurate content. The competition provided an excellent platform for students to express their ideas innovatively while reinforcing their understanding of public health education.

The submitted posters were evaluated by Prof. (Dr.) Amit Kumar Goel, Officiating Principal, JPSCP, and Dr. Danish Nouman, Officiating HOD, Department of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy based on predefined criteria including creativity, relevance to the theme, scientific accuracy, clarity of message, and overall presentation. The evaluation process encouraged fair assessment and motivated students to produce high-quality academic and creative work.The activity successfully encouraged teamwork, innovation, critical thinking, and effective health communication skills among students. It also strengthened their ability to simplify complex health concepts into visually engaging and understandable messages for the general public. Participation in such activities contributes significantly to developing leadership, confidence, and professional competence among future physiotherapists.

To acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of all participants, certificates were awarded to every participating student, along with special recognition for the winners. This gesture boosted student motivation and reinforced the importance of extracurricular academic initiatives in holistic education.

Overall, the Poster Competition on Youth Day Celebration served as an effective awareness initiative, merging academic learning with social responsibility. It reflected the department’s commitment to nurturing socially responsible healthcare professionals capable of educating society on essential health issue
