PUBLIC AWARENESS LECTURE SERIES
As the initiative of Subharti Dental College and Hospital under the Public Awareness Lecture Series (PALS) and on the occasion of National Periodontist Day, Department of Periodontology and Implantology, Subharti Dental College and Hospital Organized a Mega Oral Health Awareness Camp on 24th Feb 2025 at Nagar Panchayat, Daurala, Meerut, under the patronage of Indian Society of Periodontology.
More than 60 Patients were screened and addressed during the camp regarding the importance of maintaining oral hygiene with Proper brushing method, use of different types of mouthwashes, importance of dietary habits and effects of smoking and tobacco chewing on the oral health by Dr. Nitin Tomar (Professor), Dr. Nazar Rana (Associate Professor), Dr. Nancy Saxena, Dr Charvi Kundu and Dr. Karan Rastogi (Post Graduate Students) along with Dr. Swati & Dr. Kaniska Sharma (interns).
Oral health screening and preliminary treatment procedures like ultrasonic scaling and Restorative procedures were also performed in the Mobile Dental Van by the faculty and post-graduates and along with the preliminary treatment, educational pamphlets and toothpaste samples were also distributed to all the patients
