Meerut. The alumni Holi get-together, ‘Rangotsav ’organized by the Alumni Trust of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, concluded in a joyous and cordial atmosphere. More than 150 alumni from various faculties of the university participated, celebrating this festival of colours with mutual harmony, memories, and new resolutions.
The program began with the welcoming of our Respected CEO mam followed by Cultural performances, music, humor, and traditional Holi songs which filled the atmosphere with joy. Alumni shared memories of their student days and expressed their gratitude to the university.
On this occasion, the University’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Shalya Raj, herself an alumnus of the University, said in her message, “Rangotsav is not just a celebration of colors, but a celebration of our relationships, values, and traditions. The education and vision of life that Subharti University has given us keeps us connected throughout our lives. The alumni network is the University’s greatest strength, and your achievements are our true identity.”
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Noopur Kaushik, president of the Alumni Trust, said, “Through Rangotsav, we are not just celebrating Holi, but rekindling our old relationships. The presence of over 150 alumni is a testament to the fact that the Subharti family remains as strong and united as ever. Our endeavor is to continue this tradition of dialogue and collaboration between alumni and the University.”
Alumni from various faculties were also honoured for their achievements at the event. The program concluded with delicious traditional dishes and colourful colours, followed by a group photo and a colorful “Holi Milan.” Alumni present expressed that “Rangotsav” once again demonstrated that Subharti University is not just an educational institution, but a strong and emotional family that always binds its alumni together in a bond of love and respect. The university’s inclusion in such events symbolizes that even though we have completed our studies and are moving on in life, we remain its former students, which further strengthens our emotional connection to the university.
